Featuring a wide-gape jigging hook that is forged for strength, with a razor sharp curved point that will find a hook hold in the hardest of mouths. Mounted on tough kevlar assist cord that is double-knotted around the hook shank, whipped down to the shank and secured with Xtra-Hard resin for the ultimate in durability and strength. The cord is looped and twist-locked to a stainless solid ring to make for one super strong assist hook ready to take on the hardest fighting fish! Simply add the solid ring to your stickbait or popper using a strong split ring, such as our Neptune's Split Rings.

Assist hooks offer increased freedom of movement for the hook vs trebles and in-line singles. This can allow a lure to swim more naturally through the water. With the hook mounted to flexible assist cord and a solid ring, it is much harder for the fish to twist and lever the hook against the lure. This greatly reduces the chance of opening up a split ring mid-fight, or the fish using the lure as leverage to pull the hook.

For 100kg+ Tuna (any species) we recommend using a minimum size of 9/0 on your lures regardless of size.
